Why use Flax-seeds?
* Flax-seeds contain 30-40% oil, which remains inside the seed, enhancing heat retention longer than most products. Other products lose their ability to retain heat as the moisture is lost over time.
* Flax-seed never has that “cooked grain” smell other grain based products have when heated over and over again.
* The weight of flax-seed is gentle and flows easily, thus providing comfort and ease during use.
All of our pads are handmade and contain food grade, organic flax-seed, which provides a gentle moist heat. The outer coverings are made with gorgeous contemporary fabrics (100% Cotton, Cotton/Linen blend, Twill, Damask and Flannel). Each pad is serged and double stitched for lasting durability and strength. Larger pads are sewn into sections so that the pad conforms to your body's shape and helps to distribute heat evenly.
